Emma went to a year book press day at the beginning of November.
We had parent teacher conferences with Isaac and Grace’s teacher. They are both doing great and Mrs. Johnson had nothing but good to say about them. Grace made this cool design while it was Isaac’s turn to talk with their teacher.
After conferences we went to the temple for storytime at the visitors center.
Isaac and Grace kept asking for my phone so they could take pictures. It was a beautiful fall day.
The storytime was cute and the kids had fun throwing “rocks” at a sister missionary Goliath.
Grace had a playdate with Emma during Thanksgiving break. They made cute turkeys and painted their nails while Isaac and his friend Tyce had Nerf gun wars and made slow motion videos. Such a difference between girls and boys!
Our front porch is a favorite of spiders. One frosty morning we could see tons of spider webs all over our porch. These pictures don’t do them justice, there were so many and they were all so beautiful.
I got to sub as the Primary Chorister for 5 weeks in November and the beginning of December. I loved it. I miss that calling. I got to teach them a beautiful new Christmas song that they sang on Christmas day. It was also fun to do silly things like making crazy pumpkin faces.
Games on Sundays are our favorite! We enjoy this DVD game that the Jensen’s gave the twins for their baptism.
Grace had the blisters to prove that she had been working hard on the monkey bars at school. Ouch!
We got to clean the church in November. I love the service we are able to provide as we clean and the kids like the treats afterwards.
We had our traditional thankful “bum” rolls with the missionaries. I’m glad I took a picture of the rolls because I forgot to take a picture with the missionaries.
Brenna and I made a bunch of darling paper shoes for a RS dinner centerpiece. They were fun to make!
Grace got to go to a bowling birthday party with some cute girls.
She has some grat friends.
Lee played scientist with the kids.
They loved it of course!
We witnessed some beautiful morning and evening skies in November. Here are just a few. We saw this sunrise on the way to a soccer game one morning.
The kids ran out to capture this sunset one night.
There was a supemoon that was absolutely amazing. The twins and I had a perfect view of it on the way home from piano lessons. We kept driving to find a spot to take a good picture, but my phone just couldn’t capture it. It was so big and pretty.
This beautiful sunset reminded us of the love that Heavenly Father has for us. We really are so blessed!
